Terms of Service

1. Who this applies to
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Milo (“Milo,” “we,” “us”), including the free self-hosted software, the one-time-fee scaffold, and the hosted monthly subscription service. By creating an account or using Milo you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
Milo is offered under three tiers: a free, self-hosted open-source scaffold; a one-time-fee self-hosted scaffold with lifetime updates; and a hosted monthly subscription that includes a managed Discord bot integration. Self-hosted tiers run on infrastructure and credentials you provide and control. The hosted subscription tier runs on infrastructure we operate on your behalf.
3. Accounts
You must have an account, authenticated via Google OAuth or email and password, to access any tier, including the free tier. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
4. Payment and subscriptions
One-time-fee purchases and monthly subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your account portal at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Milo to violate applicable law, to abuse or overload shared infrastructure (including the shared Discord bot), or to attempt to access data belonging to another organization.
6. Data
For the hosted subscription tier, we store and process the business data you provide (client records, jobs, schedules, and related operational data) in order to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time; self-hosted deployments are yours to keep running independent of this agreement.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Milo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Milo after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
